Godfred Seidu Jasaw is the Member of Parliament for Wa East in the Upper West Region, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Jasaw is serving a second term, having also served in the 8th Parliament. Born on 14 March 1977, Jasaw hails from Jeyiri. Jasaw was educated at United Nations University - Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (PHD, 2016), Bagabaga Teacher Training College (CERT A, 2008) and London School of Economics (MSC, 2007). Jasaw's career includes serving as Director/ Lecturer at University for Development Studies. In the 9th Parliament, Jasaw chairs the Food, Agriculture and Cocoa Affairs Committee and is a member of the Environment, Science and Technology and Public Accounts committees.
