Born on 26 September 1987, Boateng hails from Ejisu-Onwe. Boateng was educated at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Master of Laws(LLM), 2024; Master of Science, Security and Justice Administration, 2021; Bachelor of Law(LLB), 2014), Akenten Appiah Menkah University, Kumasi (Post-Graduate Diploma in Education, 2023) and Ghana School of Law (Professional Law Practicing Certificate((BL), 2016). Boateng's career includes serving as Law Lecturer at Akenten Appiah Menkah University of Skill Training and Entrepreneurial Development, Kumasi. In the 9th Parliament, Boateng is Deputy Ranking Member of the Security and Intelligence Committee and is a member of the Office of Profit Committee.
