Ampratwum-Sarpong was educated at Chartered Institute of Directors- UK (Chartered Membership, 2025), Chartered Institute of Management -UK (Chartered Manager, 2025) and University of London - Birbeck College (Post Graduate Diploma, 2004). Ampratwum-Sarpong's career includes serving as Deputy High Commissioner to India at Ministry of foreign Affairs and CEO, Investment Consultant at Capricon Group. In the 9th Parliament, Ampratwum-Sarpong is Ranking Member of the Lands and Natural Resources Committee and is a member of the Sanitation and Water Resources and Ways and Means committees.
