Patricia Appiagyei is the Member of Parliament for Asokwa in the Ashanti Region, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Appiagyei is serving a fourth term, having also served in the 6th Parliament, 7th Parliament and 8th Parliament. Born on 28 November 1956, Appiagyei hails from Konongo/Asawase. Appiagyei was educated at Institute of Economic Development (isve) (Post Graduate Diploma, 1988) and KNUST (B.a Social Sciences, 1980). Appiagyei's career includes serving as Executive Director Marketing at City Investments Co. Ltd. In the 9th Parliament, Appiagyei is Vice Chairperson of the Ways and Means Committee, is Deputy Ranking Member of the Appointments Committee and is a member of the Ethics and Standards Committee.
