The alumni launch and meet-up events in Abuja and Lagos were successful, featuring VIP receptions, speeches by dignitaries, including Hon. Akin Rotimi, two Senior Special Assistants to the President, and the Minister of State for Youth Development.
The Executive President of IFEDGLOBAL sparked a Ghana-Jollof battle during his speech. Alumni shared their experiences with students, and the executive officers were sworn in during the launch. High school and university students attended, with many registering for the August Conferences at the University of Ghana, Legon.
Prominent figures, including a member of the House of Representatives, pledged attendance for this same August event.
The activities continued with an alumni meet-up in Lagos at La Mango Restaurant, Ikeja-GRA on Thursday, 6th June, 2024. Now Nigeria is next to be considered for the 2025 Conference, the remarkable 10th Anniversary.
Sierra Leone should be next to experience its maiden Alumni activities.
