Akwasi Konadu is the Member of Parliament for Manhyia North in the Ashanti Region, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Konadu is serving a second term, having also served in the 8th Parliament. Born on 25 July 1982, Konadu hails from Paakoso. Konadu was educated at KNUST (MSC. Devt Policy and Planning, 2021), Ghana Institute of Planners (Corporate Planner, 2021) and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (MSc Development Policy and Planning, 2020). Konadu's career includes serving as Audit Assistant at Kda Accounting Services, Kumasi and Project Supervising Officer at Bonsafo Barwuah Foundation- Accra. In the 9th Parliament, Konadu is Deputy Ranking Member of the Lands and Natural Resources Committee and is a member of the Public Accounts Committee.
