Andrew Asiamah Amoako is the Member of Parliament for Fomena in the Ashanti Region, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Amoako is serving a third term, having also served in the 7th Parliament and 8th Parliament. Born on 24 February 1966, Amoako hails from Wioso-Adansi. Amoako was educated at University of Ghana (Masters of Law(llm), 2023), Kofi Annan Int. Peace Centre (Masters of Art, 2019) and Ghana School of Law (Certificate of Legal Training, 2013). Amoako's career includes serving as Lands Officer, Valuer, Estates Officer at Kumasi Metro Assembly and Legal Practitioner at Akosombo Chambers. In the 9th Parliament, Amoako chairs the Office of Profit Committee, chairs the Ethics and Standards Committee and is a member of the Judiciary and Standing Orders committees.
