Kwaku Asante-Boateng is the Member of Parliament for Asante Akim South in the Ashanti Region, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Asante-Boateng is serving a fourth term, having also served in the 6th Parliament, 7th Parliament and 8th Parliament. Born on 27 April 1961, Asante-Boateng hails from Bompata, Asante Akim. Asante-Boateng was educated at Ghana School of Law (Barrister-At-Law, 2007), Ghana Bar Association (Professional Lawyer, 2007) and University of Ghana, Legon (MBA, 2002). Asante-Boateng's career includes serving as Chief Executive Officer at Property Solutions Models(real Estate & Legal Consultancy) and Projects/estate Manager at Unilever Ghana Limited. In the 9th Parliament, Asante-Boateng chairs the Public Administration and State Interests Committee and is a member of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Committee of Selection committees.
