Peter Kwasi Nortsu-Kotoe is the Member of Parliament for Akatsi North in the Volta Region, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Nortsu-Kotoe is serving a fourth term, having also served in the 6th Parliament, 7th Parliament and 8th Parliament. Born on 6 May 1956, Nortsu-Kotoe hails from Ave Kpeduhoe. Nortsu-Kotoe was educated at GIMPA (MA, 2007), University of Ghana (BA, 1999) and University College of Education (Teachers Diploma, 1993; Teachers Diploma, 1993). Nortsu-Kotoe's career includes serving as Assistant Director at Ghana Education Service and DCE at Akatsi District Assembly. In the 9th Parliament, Nortsu-Kotoe chairs the Education Committee and is a member of the Employment, Labour Relations and Pensions, Independent Constitutional Bodies and Subsidiary Legislation committees.
