Accra- 5th Feb. 2022 | The Regional Minister for the Western Region, Honourable Kobby Okyere-Darko Mensah on Saturday, 4th February 2022, at about 3:30 pm commissioned a new and ultra-modern Astroturf at New Takoradi.
According to him, a promise about this project was made to the citizens in his region during the campaign process as well as before his election to office and thankfully, he has been able to deliver the said promise. He made it known to the entire populace during his brief speech.
The ultra-modern and new Astroturf had its opening match during the day of commissioning which involved the Juvenile Upper Ladies versus Lower Ladies Upper X1 versus Lower X1.
At the ceremony, we captured other equally august personalities and dignitaries, in addition to youth and a large number of people who came around to witness, assist, and thereof made the Member of Parliament’s commissioning of the new Astroturf at New – Takoradi a success.
