Sam Dzata George has won the Parliamentary primaries in the Ningo Prampram Constituency over his strong contender Michael Tetteh Kwettey.

The elections in the Ningo Prampram Constituency has been one of the tensious primaries today as two delegates were arrested, a Police hit a delegate and altercations  led to the halting of the elections.

Admist all this, Sam George has emerged the winner of the primaries as he becomes the Candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the Ningo Prampram Constituency going into the 2024 general elections after polling a whopping 1,036 votes out of a total 1,700 votes cast.

After the electoral process was halted following a scuffle resulting from misunderstanding regarding 16 persons who came with an order from the High Court to vote after they were not included in the Delegates list.

The elections in that constituency was one of the looked out for due to the heated tensions prior to the elections between the two candidates.

Prior to the elections, Sam George indicat d he was going to have a ‘resounding’ victory over Michael Tetteh Kwettey and fortunately he garnered 1,036 votes as opponent Michael Tetteh Kwettey polled 626 votes.

This happens to be a ‘resounding victory’ for the incumbent who won in 2019 only by a slim margin of 7 votes in a total of 807 votes casted against the same opponent.

Sam George and his team broke out in jubilation upon hearing the declaration and he mentioned he was ready to work with for the succes of the party.
