West Ham introduces Kudus with Ghanaian rapper Guvna B’s rendition.

East London-based Ghanaian and MOBO Award-winning rapper Isaac Charles Borquaye, best known as Guvna B, introduced newly signed West Ham United’s new player Mohammed Kudus with a banging rendition of his “U Get Me” track.

In a post by English Premier League side West Ham United on their social media handles, they unveiled their fourth signing of the season from Dutch side Ajax FC with the caption “GH boy touched down in the East End”.

The Ghanaian has joined the Hammers on a five-year permanent deal at a reported fee of around £45 million after many clubs showed interest in him following his stunning performances in the Dutch league and in his national colors as well.

His signing comes days after he scored his first hat trick for Ajax in the first leg of the Europa League play-offs against Ludogorets, where he announced his anticipated departure.

The attacking midfielder will wear the No. 14 shirt for the Hammers.

In an interview with the club’s media, he expressed his long-yearned desire to play in the English Premier League since childhood.  He also assured the fans of an exciting performance and promised to fight for the badge.

“I’ve been dreaming to play in a league like this since I was a kid. I’ve been dreaming of this moment and I’m so happy to be here. But it doesn’t stop here, I want to keep going.

“I try my best to entertain the fans as I think that’s what football is all about. I’m just here to do my best and help the team.”

“I’m really happy to be here. I will fight for the badge. I can’t wait to get started.” He said.

Guvna B is an urban gospel artist who has churned out award-winning tracks that have earned him a place in the music industry in East London. He picked up the Best Gospel Act Award at the Ghana Music Awards and Urban Awards in 2009. The Narrow Road, Next Ting, Odd One Out, and Secret World are albums in the rapper’s collection
