Kab-Fam Ghana Limited, a prominent retailer of electronics and home appliances, has officially partnered with EasyBuy Ghana to introduce a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) financing option dedicated to home appliances.

The launch was marked by a press conference and official event held on Tuesday, March 11, 2026, at the Kab-Fam Showroom in Dansoman, Accra.

The collaboration seeks to enhance affordability for essential household goods, including refrigerators, televisions, washing machines, air conditioners, microwaves, and more, by allowing customers to acquire them immediately and repay through flexible weekly or monthly installments, popularly referred to as “pay small small.”

Speaking at the event, officials from both companies expressed enthusiasm about the initiative’s potential to improve access to quality appliances amid economic challenges.

Mikkie Osei Berko, a respected Ghanaian personality and brand ambassador who also doubles as Communications Officer for Kab-Fam, commended the partnership during his remarks. He highlighted how such flexible payment schemes empower everyday Ghanaians, particularly families and women managing households, to upgrade their living standards without the burden of full upfront payments.

“This is about making life easier and giving people the freedom to enjoy modern conveniences responsibly,” Berko stated.

He also emphasizid the value of inclusive financing in building financial independence.

EasyBuy Ghana, a leader in accessible credit solutions previously focused on smartphones and smaller devices has recently been extending its BNPL model to larger appliances through select partners.

Plans typically feature a down payment of around 30% (varying by item and promotion), with the remaining balance spread over 3 to 12 months, subject to quick approval processes often requiring minimal documentation such as a valid Ghana Card.

Charles Antwi-Boahen, CEO of Kab-Fam Ghana Limited, who has grown the business from humble beginnings to multiple nationwide outlets, welcomed the tie-up as a step toward greater customer convenience.

The partnership according to officials, reflects the rising demand for such services in Ghana, enabling more households to invest in essential upgrades without straining finances.

Interested customers are to visit the Kab-Fam Showroom in Dansoman or other Kab-Fam locations to explore available appliances and apply for the BNPL service.
