GAF directs qualified 2026/2027 enlistment applicants to report for body selection Sept. 28–30

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has scheduled a three-day Documentation and Body Selection Exercise for qualified applicants who applied for the 2026/2027 Enlistment Exercise.

The exercise will take place from September 28 to 30, 2026, following the closure of the online application process on September 23.

According to the GAF, the exercise will be conducted at designated centres in the Northern and Southern sectors.

Applicants who have successfully progressed to this stage will receive text messages containing details of their assigned centres, reporting dates and other instructions.

The Armed Forces has urged all applicants who receive the notifications to report to their designated centres on the specified dates and comply with the instructions provided.

For applicants in the Northern Sector, the exercise will be held at the 4 Infantry Battalion, Uaddara Barracks, Kumasi.

Those in the Southern Sector are to report to the Nicholson Stadium at the Air Force Base in Accra.

The Documentation and Body Selection Exercise forms the next major stage of the 2026/2027 recruitment process following the completion of the online application period.

The exercise is expected to enable the GAF to document and physically assess applicants who have qualified for this stage of the enlistment process.

The GAF has therefore advised applicants to pay close attention to the text messages sent to them and take note of their assigned centres, reporting dates and other instructions.

The exercise forms part of the Armed Forces’ ongoing process to select eligible candidates for the 2026/2027 Enlistment Exercise.
