The Accra East District Football Association (AEDFA) yesterday, 24th March 2023 successfully launched its league for the 2022/ 2023 season.
The league for the season will be fully sponsored by the Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Ayiku Narteh.
Speaking at the launch yesterday, a representative of the MP revealed that, the MP has committed Ghc 20,000 cedis to take care of the welfare of match officials, a 42 inches colored television to be awarded to the best player, a club jersey for the winning team plus other packages among others to be awarded to best-performing teams.
The league has there therefore adopted “Hon. Benjamin Ayiku Narteh Division 3 League” as its title for the season.
Accra East District Football Association is under the Greater Accra Regional FA and was established to organize Division 3 and Juvenile League within Osu, LA, Teshie, Nungua, and Spintex.
Some players who spoke to #the1957news after the launch expressed their satisfaction over the launch and said that they look forward to an exciting league as there is a new opportunity for them to showcase their talents to the whole world.
