The reigning champions of the just-ended 2021/2022 edition of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, have presented the trophy to their club patron, Otumfuo Osei Tutu, the Asantehene.

The club, on Monday, June 13, 2022, stormed the Manhyia Palace, the seat of the Ashanti Kingdom and the home of His Majesty Osei Tutu II, to present the trophy to the club’s owner.

As seen in a post on Facebook by the Manhyia Palace on Monday, June 13, 2022,

the Ashanti Kotoko delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah.
