Musiala sounded the victory trumpet for Bayern when he scored the decider in the 83rd minute with a powerful shot outside the penalty area  which the goal keeper couldn’t deny.

It ended Borrussia Dortmund’s title hopes and instituted the Meisterchale in Allianz Arena for the 11 th time.

“I think anyone who’s interested in soccer, particularly German soccer, will say we don’t deserve it, and I understand, because our second half of the season was so chaotic, on the field, off the field. But this moment is still unbelievable for the group, that’s what will be remembered, it’s crazy” Thomas Muller remarked .

Bayern now holds the record of winning the Bundesliga for 11 times consecutively since 2012.
