Fans have raised speculations that, Christiano Ronaldo has unfollowed Bernardo Silva on Instagram after he Predicted Messi to win the Ballon d’or.
Following a search to ascertain if the Al Nassr Star, Christiano Ronaldo was still following his fellow Portuguese teammate, Bernardo Silva on Instagram which proved negative, there has been speculations in the media that, Ronaldo has unfollowed him following his prediction of Messi for the Ballon d’or.
The Portuguese midfielder, Bernardo Silva, named his Norwegian teammate Erling Haalaand, Real Madrid’s wonder boy Vinicius Jr. and World Cup winner and seven time Ballon d’or winner Lionel Messi for the prestigious award.
Chritiano Ronaldo failed to make it to the shortlist of the Player of the year Award for the Ballon d’or after he pulled up a poor performance at Manchester united followed by his moved to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
His performance which was below the belt at the World Cup in Qatar where his team was exited by the African underdogs Morocco corroborated his failure to be a front-runner for the Player of the year Award.
When giving his prediction, he told L’Equipe: “If [Eriling] Haaland wins the league and the Champions League, you can put him in the Ballon d’Or discussion, and you can also talk about Vinicius Jr.
“If Madrid win the Champions League, but in general, it is between [Lionel] Messi and the winner of the champions, and so far, I will give it to Messi.”
