Andrew Nii Commey Otoo popularly known as Mr. Drew has expressed his desire to perform on three big stages: the BET, Wireless Festival and European festivals.
The sensational Ghanaian Highlife and Afrobeats Singer and Dancer has set his eyes on performing on three global stages in the next few months after he gave a stunning performance at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ’24.
He mentioned the global awards a few Ghanaians have bagged, BET Awards as one of them, rap and urban music festival held in London, the Wireless Festival and The Euro festivities like Eurovision.
He looks forward to selling his music craft on the global stage not just his dancing talent as the oversees audience enjoy the craft regardless the song.
” I’m not just gonna focus on the dance alone, there is music too. The whole Craft that is what sells and I feel like even people outside don’t really care whether they know your song or not. You just have to refresh them on stage so I feel like these are the three places I want to go in the next few months man has to be on these stages” he said.
He further expressed hope of reaching the summit of his career with his new team .
“We will get there. As far as the work is difficult and we are growing all the time, we will get there. It’s not a rush at all. We are in this for a long time so where are you rushing to”. He said.
The artiste looks forward to grow with his fanbase gradually as he mentions that as his aim.
“You have an audience that you must grow with, mature with. Same way others have been in the game for a long time, they have fans that will literally die for them so that’s the aim. Fans that you can grow with, let them stay with you the whole time and they will never leave you. That is the whole aim” he stated.
Mr Drew is looking forward to dropping an EP very soon.
