Kwasi Kwarteng, a spokesperson for former New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, has dismissed reports alleging that the former Assin Central Member of Parliament sacked the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, from his residence.
According to Kwarteng, the claims circulating on social media are false and should be disregarded by the public.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Kwarteng said he had personally spoken with Kennedy Agyapong regarding the matter and received a categorical denial.
“I have just spoken with Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong regarding reports that he sacked the NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong from his residence this morning. He has categorically denied the claim,” he wrote.
Kwarteng further urged the public not to give credence to the reports, insisting that they are untrue.
“The public should therefore disregard the rumour as same is untrue,” he added.
