The Keta Municipal Hospital has received a major boost to healthcare delivery following the donation of medical supplies valued at over GH¢2 million by philanthropist Lom Nuku Ahlijah, in collaboration with the Living Presence Evangelistic Network.
The donation comprises a wide range of essential medical equipment and consumables aimed at improving patient care, strengthening emergency response, and enhancing the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services.
Speaking at the presentation, Mr Ahlijah said quality healthcare remains a fundamental pillar of development and pledged to continue mobilising support for institutions serving the people of Keta.
Health officials at the hospital expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as one of the most significant private donations received in recent years. They noted that the supplies would directly improve service delivery and benefit thousands of patients across the municipality and surrounding communities.
The donation forms part of broader efforts by Mr Ahlijah to support development initiatives within the Keta Municipality.
