Andrew Dari Chiwitey is the Member of Parliament for Sawla/Tuna/Kalba in the Savannah Region, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Chiwitey is serving a third term, having also served in the 7th Parliament and 8th Parliament. Born on 27 September 1970, Chiwitey hails from Nakoiyiri. Chiwitey was educated at University of Cape Coast (Masters, 2014; Degree, 2011) and Tamale Polytechnique (HND, 2003). In the 9th Parliament, Chiwitey is Vice Chairperson of the Roads and Transportation Committee, is Deputy Ranking Member of the Assurance Committee and is a member of the Independent Constitutional Bodies and Ways and Means committees.
