Dominic Akuritinga Ayine is the Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East in the Upper East Region, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Ayine was educated at Stanford Law School (Doctor of the Science Law, 2006; Master of Laws, 2003), University of Michigan (Master of Laws, 1998) and Ghana School of Law (LB, 1995). Ayine's career includes serving as Lecturer at University of Ghana and Deputy Attorney-General at Office of the Attorney General. In the 9th Parliament, Ayine is a member of the Gender, Children and Social Welfare and Private Member's Bill and Private Member's Motion committees.
