Asamoah's career includes serving as Director General at Commission for TVET, Accra, Ghana and Executive Director at Council for TVET, Accra, Ghana. In the 9th Parliament, Asamoah chairs the Chieftaincy, Culture and Religious Affairs Committee and is a member of the Education and Economy and Development committees.
