Ussif is serving a third term, having also served in the 6th Parliament and 8th Parliament. Born on 16 August 1979, Ussif hails from Tantaala. Ussif was educated at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Executive Program, 2019), Johhanesburgh University (Executive Program, 2013) and University of Gloucestershire (MBA, 2011). Ussif's career includes serving as Executive Director at Ghana National Service Scheme and Minister for Youth and Sports at Government of Ghana. In the 9th Parliament, Ussif is Deputy Ranking Member of the Education Committee and is a member of the Lands and Natural Resources and Committee of Selection committees.
