Born on 16 July 1987, Mumuni hails from Gambaga. Mumuni was educated at Kweme Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Msc, Project Management, 2019), Wisconsin International University College (Bsc, Marketing, 2015) and Tamale technical University (HND Marketing, 2011). Mumuni's career includes serving as Regional Director at Youth Emplement Agency. In the 9th Parliament, Mumuni is Vice Chairperson of the Parliamentary Affairs Committee and is a member of the Defence and Interior and House committees.
