Al Nassr star, Christian Ronaldo has stated that he opened the door for other stars to join the Saudi Pro League during an interview in Madrid over his new Water Brand.
Ronaldo arrived in Madrid in his Pestana CR7 Hotel which attracted eyes on the star. This evening, he promotes his water brand “URSA” and has made comments regarding his career and football at large.
“I knew that going to Arabia was opening the box. I was not wrong, I am sure that in two or three years it will be one of the most important leagues in the world, Karim went there and many more will go there”, said Cristiano in the presentation of his watermark.
The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner said he knew Karim Benzema was going to join the Saudi league which occasioned him making the prediction some weeks ago that the Saudi Pro League was going to be one of the top five leagues in the world. He also revealed his intention of owning a club in the future in addition to his business ventures.
“I knew Karim is coming to Saudi that’s why I said that the Saudi league will be among top 5 leagues in the future, more player will come. In the future I will like to own a club, don’t rule it out”
He gave an assurance that Real Madrid will still be crowned Champions of Europe on many occasions after he was asked about the absence of BBC in Madrid following the departure of Karim Benzema. “I’m sure Madrid is going to win more Champions Leagues,” said the Portuguese.
He added his water brand URSU 9, a natural mineral alkaline and antioxidant water, to his other brands: CR7 Eyewear collections, CR7 underwear, CR7 underwear, CR7 footwear.
He made statements about his future as he revealed he will still play for two to three years before he retires. He also stressed the importance of water in sports, saying, “I’m already at the end of my career so I have to do 80-20”
