Prestigious Miss Diamond Africa peageantry lauched

Miss Diamond Africa, a novel beauty pageant which seeks to project the beauty and rare qualities of young women was launched yesterday, May 27 at the Forecourt of Bryt TV, Accra.

The launch saw people from all walks of life in attendance. The media were present to catch a glimpse of the glamorous launch, Sally Akua Amoako, GMB Queen 2011 showed up as well as queen mothers and other dignitaries who graced the occasion with their presence.

The pageantry is one in a million as it sets its focus on the inner qualities of its contestants in order to unveil the jewels the African is made of. 

In a speech delivered by the Project Manager, Regina Ofori, she stressed the pageantry being centered on unearthing potentials within its contestant and she created an impression of it being captivating and outstanding.

“MDA is a reality show that will captivate the hearts and minds of Ghanaians and Africa as a whole. Today marks the beginning of an extraordinary journey, one that will celebrate the beauty, grace, and resilience of African women like never before.”

“As we look forward to the upcoming auditions, let us embrace the diversity, talent, and strength that Africa possesses. Together, we can reshape the narrative and unlock the boundless potential within each contestant. ” She stated.

She rolled out the plush benefits the winner and her runner-ups will get as well as the roadmap to the grand finale of the event.

The Pageantry sequentially will commence with an audition in the month of September in the state capital, Accra and Kumasi as well which shall be open to all young women within the age bracket of 18 to 30 years.

Highlighting the Prizes that are up for grabs, the winner shall be Crowned the Queen of Miss Diamond Africa, enjoy a plush tour to Dubai and win a brand new Hyundai Accent.

In an interview with the1957news, the Project Manager, Regina Ofori teased the audience to enjoy a wonderful show which shall also telecast how the queens conduct themselves in the house as well as ensuring transparency in the voting system.

“Expect nothing but the best we want to see what’s inside the person not necessarily the outside beauty. We are talking the inward beauty. The talent, confidence, and how best the person can be to society” she added.

Miss Diamond Africa will be telecasted live on Bryt Tv and its accompanying social media handles.
