British TikToker Ola Melissa Sloan has pleaded guilty for stalking three Premier League stars in a Wemminstar Magistrates’ Court today, 24 May,
The social media influencer who brands herself as ‘Devil baby’ pleaded guilty to all charges levelled against her and admitted she was guilty of stalking the Footballers after she slept with Chelsea Midfielder, Mason Mount.
The 21-year-old TikToker after the court proceedings was granted unconditional bail after she admitted two counts of stalking and one of harassment without violence.
The Prosecutor told the court that, Ola Melissa Sloan had an affair with Mason Mount once after meeting at a party in Ben Chilwell’s home in November 2020.
Following that, they kept in contact for two months until the Chelsea Midfielder decided that the relationship was not going to progress.
She however started to stalk the the English star from June 19, 2022 to October 28, despite the end of the relationship. Amidst that, she was also targeting ex-Chelsea player Gilmour from between September 10 and October 28.
And during that period, she also harassed Chilwell from October 20 and October 29, 2022.
The Prosecutor told the court Sloan bombarded Mason Mount with messages and he blocked her number. He also mentioned that Mount “was concerned she had an obsession or fixation with him and he didn’t know what she was capable of”.
She used 21 different numbers to contact Mason Mount and sent him pictures of the footballer and other women as well, the Prosecutor Jason Seetal told the court.
she also reached the star’s dm on Instagram with an account named ‘Devil Baby’ and said : “I can morph at any time so let me apologise and set things right.”
In Mason Mount’s statement, he said “Miss Sloan knows roughly where I live and where I train. I’m worried as if she is unable to contact me she might turn up at my training centre.”
His teammate Ben Chilwell, also mentioned that he found the TikToker’s behaviour ‘erratic’, and Gilmour Brighton’s player declared her messages had a ‘huge impact’ on his life after he moved from North London to the South coast.
He said“I have not been able to sleep and have had to take sleeping tablets. It’s had a negative effect on my performance and professional life.Being in a new town where I don’t have my friends or family, it’s really upsetting”
The Scottish Midfielder after texting and sending messages for awhile told Sloan he didn’t want to talk to her again. She faked pregnancy on the star which was described false in the court.
Verdict and sentence on Melissa Sloan’s case will be given her per the charges. She said “I don’t know who I can trust anymore.Some of the information would only have been known by people close to me.”
District Judge Neeta Minhas told Sloan she crossed the custody threshold which is a serious offence. She adjourned sentencing to June 20 for reports to be prepared.
