Fifty-eight percent of NDC delegates believe Johnson Asiedu Nketiah should remain National Chairman of the party, according to the latest poll by Global InfoAnalytics.

The poll, conducted between September 11 and 13, 2026, found that 21% of delegates disagreed with Mr Asiedu Nketiah remaining in the position, while 20% had no opinion.

The latest figures represent a decline from the 61% recorded in July among delegates who supported his continued stay as National Chairman.

The poll also examined the presidential preferences of delegates who support Mr Asiedu Nketiah remaining in the position.

Among those who want him to stay, 54% preferred Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson as the NDC’s presidential candidate, while 19% preferred Mr Asiedu Nketiah himself. Another 27% were undecided.

Global InfoAnalytics polled 3,615 NDC delegates out of the party’s 7,600 delegates using random-probability telephone sampling. The completed-response rate was 93%.
