Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has announced that Parliament is expected to adjourn sine die on Friday, December 19, 2025.
Presenting the Business Statement for the ninth week ending December 19, Mr Ayariga, who also serves as Chairman of the Business Committee, urged Committee Chairpersons to prioritise all pending referrals and submit their reports expeditiously.
He commended the Speaker, the Deputy Speakers, and all Members of Parliament for their commitment and hard work during the session.
Mr Ayariga expressed optimism that the Business Committee would ensure all scheduled matters for the final week are concluded smoothly before the House rises.
In the upcoming week, eight ministers are slated to appear before Parliament to respond to 41 urgent questions.
The ministers include those responsible for Food and Agriculture; Public Sector Reforms; Roads and Highways; Government Communications; Labour, Jobs and Employment; Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs; Trade, Agribusiness and Industry; and Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.
