Agradaa ordered to compensate pastor with GH¢50,000 for publishing his nakedness

The Accra High Court has convicted evangelist Patricia Asieduaa, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, for distributing nude photos of fellow pastor Emmanuel Appiah Fumum, also known as Osofo Biblical, without his consent.

On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the court fined Agradaa GH¢12,000 and ordered her to pay GH¢50,000 as compensation to the complainant.

The conviction comes on the back of a plea bargain agreement between Agradaa and the State, ending a case that has dragged on for nearly three years.

Agradaa, a former fetish priestess who transitioned into evangelism, faced charges for broadcasting the intimate images of Pastor Appiah Fumum on her television station and social media platforms.

The images were reportedly aired during a live programme where panelists mocked the pastor, in violation of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), which prohibits the non-consensual sharing of intimate images.

Earlier in December, the court had directed both parties to submit the terms of the plea bargain after Agradaa’s defence counsel indicated that negotiations with the Office of the Attorney-General were advanced. The complainant participated in the discussions and was present in court for the ruling.

Speaking to journalists after the proceedings, Agradaa’s counsel explained that opting for a plea bargain provided closure to the protracted matter.

“This case has been running for the past three years. Choosing the plea bargain option brought it to an end,” the lawyer said.

Nana Agradaa is currently serving a separate 15-year prison sentence with hard labour for fraudulent religious activities, which she began in July 2025.
