The Ministry of the Interior has announced that screening for shortlisted applicants to the Ghana Police Service will begin on Monday, January 12, 2026, as part of Phase II of the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (CSERP) for the 2025 and 2026 intake.

According to the Ministry, the documentation and body inspection exercise will run from January 12 to February 4, 2026. However, at this stage, only applicants for the Ghana Police Service have been scheduled, with those seeking positions in the Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service set to receive their screening details after January 15, 2026.

The recruitment portal was opened on November 17, 2025, and closed on December 19, 2025, allowing eligible Ghanaians to apply for roles in the various security services.

Applicants are required to report to their designated screening centres with both original documents and photocopies. Essential items include the application summary report, biometric birth certificate, Ghana Card, high school certificates, two passport-sized photographs, and any other relevant educational certificates.

The Ministry has warned that failure to appear at the specified time and date may result in disqualification. Candidates assigned to the morning session must report by 7 a.m., while those for the noon session are expected by 12 p.m.

Notifications regarding screening dates, times, and centres will be sent via text message. Applicants can also log into the CSERP portal to verify their details.

This recruitment drive aims to bolster the nation’s security apparatus by onboarding qualified personnel into these critical services.
