Ralph Poku-Adusei, Member of Parliament for Bekwai Constituency, has supported several communities in his constituency with building materials, streetlights and cash as part of Easter celebrations and his birthday.
A delegation of New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives, led by Constituency Chairman Alex Arko Addai Darkwa, presented the items on behalf of the MP to communities undertaking self-help projects.
The beneficiary communities, which include Bogyawe, Abesewa, Ahwiren, Esiase, Bedomase, Akyeremade, Mensaase, Sebedie, Asokwa Tunsuom, Biribiwomanmu, Kokofu, Pampaso, and Sefwi, received over 400 bags of cement and cash donations to support their ongoing development projects.
The presentation underscores the MP’s commitment to grassroots development and empowering communities to take charge of their own progress.
Ralph Poku-Adusei has undertaken several development initiatives in the Bekwai Constituency. These include mechanised water projects, clearing of decades-old refuse dumps, and skills training programmes for over 5,000 youth.
Through a partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, he has also empowered hundreds of women with capital to start their own businesses. Other interventions include expanded network connectivity, provision of street lighting, and road rehabilitation across various communities.
In the education sector, the MP introduced the School Starter-Pack Scheme, which provides support to 100 top-performing BECE students annually.
Ralph Poku-Adusei is widely recognised for his consistent focus on community-driven development in the Bekwai Constituency.
