The Founder of The1957News, Nene Odompleh, has called on Ghanaian digital media creators to uphold high standards of professionalism and credibility as the industry continues to grow.
Speaking at the opening of the maiden Digital Media Creators Networking and Capacity Building Conference organised by The1957News, Nene Odompleh stressed the need for creators to match the power of digital platforms with responsibility.
“With this power comes the responsibility to grow, to learn, and to build a community that thrives on professionalism, credibility, and innovation. That is why we are here,” he told the gathering.
Describing the conference as “a strategic response to the rapid evolution of Ghana’s digital media landscape,” Nene Odompleh welcomed distinguished speakers, industry leaders, and participants, commending the speakers for their commitment to nurturing the next generation of digital media leaders.
The event, held at Conclave Meetings & Events in Accra, focused on capacity building, networking, and elevating the quality of digital content creation in the country.

Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Presidential Adviser and Special Aide to President John Dramani Mahama, is serving as the Special Guest of Honour.
The conference features an impressive array of speakers, including Samuel Nartey George, Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Jerry Ahmed Shaib, Deputy Minority Whip, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, MP for Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency, and broadcaster and brand influencer Berla Mundi.
