President Mahama’s Big Push is creating jobs across constituencies – Osman Ayariga
The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga, has praised the government’s Big Push infrastructure programme, saying projects being undertaken across the country are creating jobs and providing opportunities for Ghanaians.
Speaking at the National Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) Conference at the University of Education, Winneba, Mr Ayariga said the programme was making an impact in various constituencies, including that of the Minority Leader.
“The Big Push is pushing everywhere. From my house to this constituency. This is the Minority Leader’s constituency and Big Push is pushing everywhere and all these projects are creating jobs,” he said.
He said the scale of infrastructure development under President John Dramani Mahama’s administration should encourage party supporters to recognise and defend the government’s policies and programmes.
Mr Ayariga urged NDC members to appreciate the employment opportunities emerging from the projects and support efforts to ensure that more young people benefit from the government’s development agenda.
He also called on young people to position themselves to take advantage of the opportunities created by the government’s infrastructure investments and other interventions aimed at improving livelihoods.
