The Western Regional Minister, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah has been honored by the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) in accordance with his aid and efforts geared towards the betterment of the region.
In February 2023, the Regional Minister launched his premier book dubbed “Discover Western Region”, which aims to school the multitudes on the feat and all one needs to know about the Western Region of Ghana.
Being dedicated to the region, whilst focusing on the improvement in youth entrepreneurship and empowerment, as well as promoting the region’s private sector, the Chamber applauded him.
In view of this, Hon Okyere-Darko’s efforts channeled towards grooming the region as the best among the rest have been recognized in a citation signed by the Western Regional Chairman of GNCCI, who is in a person of Mr. Lord Segbeawu. A part of the citation reads,
“Your efforts at making the Western Region to be the best among the rest cannot be over-emphasized. This, you easily do by exposing our region and its investment opportunities locally and internationally, to the extent of writing a book on the Western Region, which in no doubt would reach all part of the world”.
The Chamber, however, thanked the Regional Minister for consistently projecting the Western Region at all functions.
