GMB’s Amoani to Launch STEM Inclusion Ghana

The educative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Inclusion Ghana, regarded as the pillar of technological advancement and improvement in the development of our world today, is set to be launched officially on Friday, April 28, 2023.

Dated April 20, the STEM ambassador, Miss Sarah Odei Amoani, the intellect who represented the Eastern Region with the stage name Miss Amoani, and was crowned as the third runner-up at the end of Ghana’s Most Beautiful Pageantry, 2022, shared with netizens details of the forthcoming launch of this educative program.

Taking to her Instagram page, she captioned,

“Beautiful people, the launch of STEM Inclusion Ghana is finally here and I am particularly excited about this. The project seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry in relation to STEM education in Ghana. Thank you for believing in me”.

She finally concluded with the hashtags-Agenda2030 is on and STEM is the future and the Future is Now!

The official launch has been scheduled for Friday, April 28, 2023, 10 am prompt at the Academic City University College.

Notwithstanding, in April 2019, Mr. Firmin Matoko, the Assistant Director General of Education at the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) at the opening address of the Pan African Conference (PACE) said,

“We need to help Africa tap into scientific inventions and discoveries that are happening around the world, and step up investments in scientific research so as to enable Africans to be producers of knowledge rather than consumers by embracing the advancement of technology.”

STEM Inclusion Ghana is sponsored by AirtelTigo, Tecno, GIFEC, and a few to mention. Partners include Academic City University College, the Ministry of Education, and Hacklab Foundation.
