As President John Dramani Mahama prepares to deliver a national address tonight, May 7 at 8:30 PM, to mark his “120 Days Social Contract,” the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has launched a sharp counter-campaign titled “120 Bitter Days of John Dramani Mahama.”

The teaser was unveiled through an artwork posted on the official Facebook page of NPP National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye. The design features bold red, yellow, and green hues, with a map of Ghana embedded in the number “120”—a clear visual response to Mahama’s messaging.

The NPP’s teaser frames the President’s first 120 days in office as a period of disappointment, failure, and unfulfilled promises—describing them as “bitter days” for Ghanaians.

While the party has yet to announce a launch date or provide further details of the campaign, the timing of the teaser suggests a deliberate effort to challenge Mahama’s credibility and influence public opinion ahead of his much-anticipated address.

Ghanaians now await both the President’s message and the NPP’s next move in this unfolding political narrative.
