‘Agro ne fom’ demo to hit Jubilee House to demand removal of Special Prosecutor

A group of concerned Ghanaians will today, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, march to the Jubilee House to demand the immediate removal of Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng.

The protest, dubbed “Agro Ne Fom” (Twi for “We are tired”), is being organised to highlight what participants describe as the failure of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) to effectively deliver on its anti-corruption mandate.

Speaking ahead of the demonstration on Monday, Lead Convener Apostle Abraham Larbi Lincoln said the group is calling on President John Dramani Mahama to terminate Mr Agyebeng’s appointment.

“We are not coming because we hate Kissi Agyebeng. We are coming because the office is not working. Either it is reformed completely or dissolved and all the staff removed,” Apostle Lincoln stated.

He confirmed that protesters, dressed in red, will march directly to the Presidency to present a petition.

“We will be in our reds, and we will be there to present our case. If he (the President) doesn’t listen, then we know the kind of person he is,” he added.

Private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu has revealed that 15 separate petitions have already been filed with the President seeking Mr Agyebeng’s removal under Article 146 of the Constitution.

“When was the last time you heard of any public officer facing removal proceedings having 15 petitions filed against them? That alone tells you something is seriously wrong,” Mr Kpebu said.

The demonstration is expected to conclude with the formal submission of the group’s petition to President Mahama at the Jubilee House.
