The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has arrested 93 Nigerian nationals for their alleged involvement in internet fraud and immigration-related offences following a major intelligence-led operation in Accra. The suspects, comprising 91 men and two women, were arrested during a raid on six houses at the Devtraco Estate. Five individuals have been arrested by National Security operatives in a joint crackdown with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) for their alleged involvement in the illegal manufacturing and distribution of fake DV number plates across the country. The Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) is set to significantly boost its production capacity to 45,000 barrels per stream day as part of renewed efforts to revitalise the facility and strengthen its contribution to Ghana’s petroleum sector.
