President John Dramani Mahama has received the official investigative report into the August 6, 2025, helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight people, including two cabinet ministers. The report, submitted to the President on Monday, November 10, 2025, was prepared by a special committee chaired by National Security Coordinator Abdul-Osman Razak. The National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations Secretariat (NAIMOS) has arrested a chief in the Eastern Region for allegedly interfering with the arrest of a prominent illegal mining kingpin. Nana Ogyeahohuo Barima Anum, who claims to be the Chief of Dokokyina, was apprehended on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at around 4:30 p.m., during an operation in a grey Mercedes Benz ML 350 with registration number GT 870-14, trailing the NAIMOS team. The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has shut down several water-producing facilities in parts of Greater Accra for operating without the required licenses and under unhygienic conditions. The affected areas include Ashaiman, Teshie, Nungua, and the Ga West Municipal area. Revenue assurance company, Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited (SML) has sued the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) at the High Court in Accra over the alleged unlawful seizure of its servers and equipment. Accoroding to a report by myjoyonline.com, the company filed a writ of summons on November 10, 2025, demanding the return of all seized items, special damages of $28,850,125.50, and general damages of GH₵20 million. A former Board Member of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF), Yaw Odame-Darkwa, has testified in the High Court in Accra that the controversial Sky Train project never received approval from the GIIF Board during his tenure. The Manhyia Palace Museum has received 130 gold and art objects from South Africa and Britain to bolster its collection of Asante heritage artefacts that date back to the 1870s. The items, comprising gold and bronze artworks crafted in Kumasi and other parts of the Asante Kingdom, were presented to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the palace and its museum.
