CalBank and Zenith Bank have been ranked first by customers in a joint report by Global Info Analytics and Stratcomm Africa, based on a Customer Satisfaction and Banking Brands survey. The two banks emerged as the top performers in customer satisfaction, each scoring 81%. Fidelity Bank followed in second place with a score of 73%, while the average score across all surveyed banks was 72%. The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has addressed and rectified recent claims suggesting a ban on over-the-counter (OTC) withdrawals of foreign currency, stating unequivocally that such withdrawals are still allowed. The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has announced that starting next month, June, first-year students enrolled in public tertiary institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year will be reimbursed for the academic user fees they paid.
