The five-member committee set up by President John Mahama to investigate three petitions seeking the removal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo is scheduled to begin its hearings today, Thursday, 15th May 2025. The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has announced that starting next month, June, first-year students enrolled in public tertiary institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year will be reimbursed for the academic user fees they paid. The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is set to launch the Graduates in Corporate Support (GRICS) programme, aimed at deploying young unemployed graduates to corporate firms and industries to support the implementation of the 24-hour economy.
