Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi, Yusif Sulemana, has highlighted a range of interventions he has undertaken in the constituency, including more than GH¢400,000 in support for education.

Speaking at the grand durbar of the 2026 Bole Damba celebrations, Mr Sulemana said his interventions had focused on improving educational infrastructure and supporting brilliant but needy students across the constituency.

He disclosed that he had spent in excess of GH¢200,000 on school fees for brilliant but needy students and provided another GH¢200,000 towards the establishment of a temporary campus of a teacher training college in Bole.

He also announced plans to launch a mining-related educational fund to support constituents who wish to pursue professional mining courses at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT).

Mr Sulemana, who led the government and NDC delegation to the celebration on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, also highlighted other interventions, including the procurement of a new ambulance and a giant power plant for the Bole Hospital, as well as various forms of support to constituents.

He said the government was similarly undertaking a number of development projects in the district covering roads, health, education, electrification, sports and job creation.
