Gyakie named in YouTube’s Black Voices Class Of 2023

The Ghanaian Afro-fusion songstress and songwriter, Gyakie has been shortlisted as a member of the forthcoming YouTube Black Voices Class of 2023.

As part of the global fund, the event’s 3rd edition seeks to include about forty(40) artists, songwriters, and producers from around the globe.

In a post shared on social media by the YouTube Black Voices Class of 2023, Gyakie was the only Ghanaian female artist who made the list. Notwithstanding, Juls a Ghanaian producer also made it on the list.

The duo, however, will be named among a myriad of Black Creators across the globe.

Gyakie was named a member of the Black Voices Class of 2023 together with over thirty (30) Black Creators not excluding South Africa’s MashBeatz and Nigeria’s BNXN, Asake, and American’s production duo will be groomed and supported with the necessary logistics to training their voices for more melodious songs.

In order to get assistance for providing a surest partnership and support, funds for strengthening their channels, workshops, networking programs, and substantially more, the creative set to collaborate with YouTube in order to carry out the aforementioned activities successfully without rancor.

Over two years now, the songbird has been recognized greatly in the music industry. Her hit song “Forever” topped several charts in Ghana, Nigeria, and even Kenya. Again, the song dominated Billboard’s Top Triller Global by placing number one.

Gyakie’s feat throughout her arrival in the music and entertainment industry is quite remarkable. Being featured in the Grammy Herbal Tea session to linking a deal with RCA, UK, and Sony Music in March 2021 cannot be underestimated.

In spicing her music journey, she electrified Global Citizen Festival which was held in Accra with a stunning performance, standing out as the only Ghanaian female artist on the podium, she again joined Afrochella’s Pop-up event in South Africa as the only female artist to perform and a few to mention.

The YouTube Black Voices Class of 2023’s list of artists, songwriters, and producers includes;
Armani White, Coco Jones, MIKE, Babyface, Ray, Larry June, Yvngxchris, Tempest, Honey Dijon, Yves Tumor, Chicocurlyhead, Madeline Edwards, Nova Twins, TOBi, Unknown T, Kali Claire, Rincon Sapiência, Karen Francis, Black Pantera, BLESSED, Gyakie, BNXN, Kamo Mphela, Asake, Take a Daytrip, Tiffany Red, Tayla Parx, Hitkidd, NGLISH, Jin Jin, Kal Banx, TH4I, A.B Original, Soaky Siren, Carla Marie, Ukweli, Tia Gostelow, MashBeatz, and Juls.
