Harry Kane wins 2026 Men’s Striker of the Year Award
Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane has won the 2026 Men’s Striker of the Year award at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in London following an outstanding 2025/26 season.
The England captain was recognised on Monday for his prolific performances, scoring 73 goals and providing eight assists in 65 appearances for club and country during the campaign.
The 33-year-old has remained a key figure in Bayern Munich’s attack since joining the German club from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023.
His move to the Bundesliga marked a new chapter in his career after spending nearly two decades in English football, where he established himself as Tottenham’s all-time leading goalscorer.
Kane has also continued to play a central role for England, captaining the national team and leading its attack in pursuit of major international honours.
The latest individual award adds to a career marked by consistent goalscoring, intelligent movement and clinical finishing.
Kane entered the ceremony as one of the leading contenders for the men’s Ballon d’Or, with his performances for Bayern Munich strengthening his position among the world’s top forwards.
