Lali x Lola release new single “Journii Begins”, featuring Jaya

Sensational Afropop/Afrobeat/Afrofusion duo, Patricia Delali Jake and Trysha Wolali Dake, known by their craft name “Lali X Lola,” have released a new banger titled “Journii Begins,” featuring Nigerian rising artist Jaya.

The song was released on Friday, June 23rd, and it is available on all streaming platforms. It emphasizes determination while seizing  opportunities and overcoming obstacles on the journey to success.

The song is accompanied by a dance challenge that resonates with the lyrical content of the song, giving the audience a feel of their music and dance talent.

Jaya & Lali X Lola’s assertive vocals and the vibrant production create an uplifting and motivational anthem. The song’s melodies & percussions deliberately fuse a twist of Amapiano to the lively vibes of Afrobeat.

With over 500, 000 streams on Boomplay on their Picture Us track, the duo are set to top charts and drop jaws with this new track, which has received massive patronage from some media moguls in the entertainment industry.

Jaya, the singer/songwriter Afro-beat sensation who is featured on the track, hails from Lagos, Nigeria, and his unique blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and Pop makes his music globally relatable. With a style reminiscent of Wiz Kid, Chris Brown, and Fela Kuti, Jaya’s music is a true representation of the vibrant energy of Nigeria.

Not too long in the game, Laxi x Lola are enjoying their buding season in the entertainment industry as they have rocked big stages, not common for unsung artistes.

They made their debut performance at the Pent Invasions 2023, sharing the stage with Dancehall sensation Shatta Wale.

Last year, the twins gave a riveting performance at the Afrochella Rising Star 2022, Stinebwoy’s Bhim Concert, and the 3 Music Awards Women Brunch 2022.

They have spurned other soothing melodies like Ogini, Picture Us, Johnny, From words to magic, Explora, Put to shame ad others.

The duo currently work from both Ghana and the UK. They consider themselves as “Entertainment Scholars” because of their passion and drive to excel academically while fully exploiting their Godgiven talents.

They are managed by their father, whom they call their dadanger” (daddy/manager). Their kid brother, “Rappidd” is their default producer, and their mother is their stylist.
