Yiadom signs 3 year contract with Hearts Of Oak

Accra Hearts of Oak have added WAFA captain, Konadu Yiadom to their long list of pre-season signings after the defender penned down a three year deal with the Rainbow boys.

The deal which was set to be completed few days ago took a huge twist when bitter rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko also entered the race to sign the highly rated defender.

It remained unknown which of the Premier League giant would end up adding the 22 year old to bolster their squad in the last couple of hours until Hearts Of Oak pushed the deal over the line after the defender had a very successful medicals last Saturday.

Accra Hearts of Oak fans will be delighted with their latest acquisition as the team looks to beef up their squad for the upcoming coming BetPawa Premier League season and also their quest to redeem themselves in Africa after enduring an unforgettable time in both the CAF champions league and the Confederation’s Cup last season.

Konadu Yiadom captained WAFA last season to a 17th place finish in the league, despite having an impressive individual campaign scoring twice in 31 games
