Founder and President of the RNAQ Foundation, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, in collaboration with the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, is set to launch a scholarship scheme aimed at supporting promising, brilliant and needy students from the Ga-Dangbe community.

The scholarship scheme is scheduled to be officially launched on Monday, September 14, 2026, as part of efforts to expand educational opportunities for young people within the community.

The initiative is intended to provide financial support to deserving students and help ensure that financial difficulties do not prevent them from pursuing their education.

Beyond supporting individual beneficiaries, the scheme is expected to promote a culture of collective responsibility and encourage individuals and institutions within the Ga-Dangbe community to contribute to the development of the next generation.

According to Mr Armah Quaye, the initiative forms part of a broader vision to strengthen the Ga-Dangbe community through education and create opportunities for young people to become scholars, professionals and future leaders.

He believes sustained investment in education will help equip young Ga-Dangbe people with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities and Ghana as a whole.

The initiative also seeks to encourage successful members of the community to give back by investing in educational opportunities for younger generations.

Mr Armah Quaye, who hails from the Ga-Dangbe community, is leading the initiative as part of efforts to reinvest in the community and support its long-term development.

The launch is expected to bring together traditional leaders, community members and other stakeholders to highlight the importance of education and collective investment in the future of the Ga-Dangbe people.

@richardniiarmahquayeOur traditions remind us of who we are, but our unity determines where we go. The future of the Ga-Dangme community is in the hands of the next generation, and it is our responsibility to give them the opportunity to thrive. On 14 September, the Ga-Dangme gather as one. One Ga-Dangme, One Heart. Rising Together.♬ original sound – Richard Nii Armah Quaye
